Do you like pasta?

I love pasta. We usually have ziti or rotini or something in small pieces, but for some reason Mami got daring the other day and tried some angel hair pasta. WHAT. A. MESS>

I was trhilled, but Mami and Daddy were not happy about that clean up!

Lots of changes lately!

This past week has been a busy one. Resli and I started our new school. We were both apprehensive at first, but we did great this week and we really liked it.

AND, on top of that, we got a new car! It's a Subaru Forester and we fit inside just perfectly.

I dont' seem to be bothered by the changes at all, I have maintained my happy (sometimes crazy, sometimes fussy) persona through it all!

Pools are cool

I know they're cool because we got one today. Well, a little one, but we sure had a blast in it! Resli and I jumped in while Daddy watched.

We convinced Daddy to get his feet in too.
And that turned in to this:
Yep, we got Daddy all the way in the water, how crazy is that? It aws a little chilly so we hugged in between playing.
My lips were blue and my teeth were chattering it was so cold, but I kept saying I didn't want to get out. Although "Brrrr" did come up a lot.

(Yea, we tried to get Mami in too. She didn't.)
Once I did get out and got dressed, Resli and I played that it was naptime. I think we just wanted to get under our blankies!
We can't wait to go back in the pool tomorrow!

GOOD nights!

We keep growing so fast that our PJs don't fit us anymore. Mami went to get Resli some (I wear her hand-me-downs mostly), but they were BOGO, so we each got a set.
Mine have Minnie Mouse on them and Resli's have Tinkerbell. We were both really excited about them.

And yes, that means there was dancing before bed!

We sure will sleep well in our new PJs, we hope you have a good night too!

I found these shoes in my closet

And Mami and Daddy didn't have the heart to fight me on it, so they let me wear them. Even with my pretty dress.

Yea, that's right. You know it.

(Unfortunately I could'nt really walk in them, so I doubt I'll be wearing them much more.)

Helping out in the bath

Sometimes, Mami and Daddy have had such a long hard day that bathing me and Resli can be overwhelming. So I've decided I can help out by washing Resli's hair. First, you need the shampoo.

Then you rub it all around (and pull her hair a little...)

And then rinse!

What a big help I am, don't you think?

Patience is a virtue

And it's one I don't have a lot of, at least not when it comes to meal time.
Daddy, can you help me into my high chair please? Daddy? Where are you?

(Mami says to please wait for Daddy and not do what I'm thinking of doing.)
MmmmHmmm? You think I'm just going to sit here and wait?

Not when there's food coming. Nah ah. Up I go.

(OK, nobody tell her that the food wasn't ready yet anyway! At least she loves eating!)

Dress up time

In spite of Mami's best efforts and cleaning (and, um, hiding) our stuff, we found costumes! Resli dressed as a princess and I dressed as my Halloween monkey, and there was great rejoicing.

We had to check ourselves out in the mirror because we thought we looked so cute.

And now come on everyone, put your hands out, and let's do the monkey dance!

Go Lela. Go Lela.
