Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my birthday! I'm two whole years old.
Resli offered to help take my two-year pictures. She held the sign.

While I tried to put my party hat on.

Hang on here, I can get this together.

Oh, who cares?!? It's my birthday!

Even though my real party isn't until Sunday, and Mami's making my special Pablo cake for then, look what we had after dinner tonight: cupcakes! I even had a candle on mine.

I had to work very hard to blow it out.

Aha, success at last!

And aha, more success!

So far it's been a great birthday. Can you believe how fast the last two years have flown by? Me neither! Thanks for sharing them with me.

So, today we went to the Alachua County fair. What an outing! The first thing we saw - and about which I was extremely excited - were animals!

They had chicks! I giggled out loud when I saw them, they were so cute.

And I tried to touch them, but luckily there was glass there.

They had this adorable little pony too, who wasn't much bigger than I am. Too bad he wasn't available for rides.

Resli talked Mami and Daddy into buying us some cotton candy. I wasn't too sure about it, it felt kinda funny.

I even got to go on a ride or two with Mami and Daddy. On this one we went up and down and up and down, oooh!

Resli got to go on some more rides too but since I'm not quite 36" tall yet I couldn't. Check her blog for details though.
And Mami won me this stuffed snake. It says "sssss" and I love it!

Wow, what a fun afternoon!

Pumpkin patch

Yesterday we went to pick out our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.
There were so many, I wasn't sure what to do!

After a good rest, I think I found the perfect one.

But then Mami thought SHE found the perfect one:

Lake Alice

One of the places we took Grandpa and Eleanor this weekend was to Lake Alice, the lake on campus. There aren't many good pictures from the morning but Mami especially likes this one... look in the background...

A special visit

We had a very special visit last weekend - Grandpa and Eleanor came to see us! I'd never met them, so it was extra special for me.
On Friday night we had a dinner party for them and Granddaddy and Grandma to celebrate Daddy's birthday.

And then on Saturday they went with Mami and Daddy to the Gators game!


Even though Resli and I were not on our best behavior for the visit (or anything closely resembling good behavior), we were very happy to see Grandpa and Eleanor. And we hope they come back soon!

Party at the park!

My friend Amber turned 2 today, and she invited me (and Resli) to her party at our favorite park.
I had a great time climbing,

and sliding (with Resli),

and doing more climbing.

There were balloons, too.

And then we had lunch and cake and ran around and played some more, and now I'm napping off all that fun. I'm thinking about having my own party at that park too, since everyone had such a good time. What do you think?
